Thermal Mass Gas Flow Meter
This technology provides high reliability in harsh conditions, using two
platinum RTDs—one for velocity and one for temperature compensation. It
calculates mass flow based on heat transfer, with power requirements
correlating to gas velocity. Features include high precision, a wide range ratio
of 1:1000, and sensitivity to low-flow rates as low as 0.05m/s.
Features
It’s immune to
pressure loss, dust, and vibration, and requires no moving parts. The system
is easy to install, maintain, and operate, with the ability to be serviced online
without interrupting flow.
